International movement Youth Time extended applications deadline for the Youth Global Forum 2016! The event will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia in November 24-26. The forum will gather together more than 150 participants from all over the world with the aim of brainstorming solutions for the most prevalent youth issues. The topic of the annual event is The Interdependence Between Sustainability and Social Entrepreneurship – Creating a Sustainable Environment for Social Development Through Tech Innovation. Participation is partially funded. New deadline to apply is September 25th.
Call for participants – Youth Global Forum in Amsterdam 2019.
The Youth Global Forum is organized by Youth Time movement in close cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Prague.
The main focus of this forum is set on how to realizing sustainable development in ever-changing global markets. This forum will provide an interactive platform for young social innovators to openly communicate, share ideas and experiences with their peers from different cultural backgrounds and regions around the globe. This event will offer participants to connect and engage with other social entrepreneurs, as through networking they can find human support by like-minded people, as well as they will get guidance from experts and global think tanks in order to get inspired and find motivation to collaboratively lay down the foundation and to envision their successful future.
Main criteria
- Young people 18-32 y.o. from around the world;
- Students, social entrepreneurs, young professionals, startupers;
- Fluent in English.
You can either apply as a project presenter or an interested participant.
As project presenter you can expect to:
- Have a chance to win a substantial grant to realize your project.
- Work on your project proposal in the supervision of an expert (in setting up business initiatives) before the event.
- Get a platform to present your ideas. Have a unique opportunity to network with 150 like- minded people.
- Have a valuable working and learning experience in the amazing city of Jakarta.
- The program, food, and accommodation are covered by Youth Time. Please take into consideration that travel expenses are at your own expense.
As project presenter you are expected to:
- After invitation pay an entrance fee of € 100. Please note, that only after payment, we will take your project into consideration.
- Hand in the project proposals before the by Youth Time set deadlines.
- Present project in front of all participants, experts and journalists at the event.
- To gather 30% of the total needed budget yourself.
As interested participant you can expect to:
- Be inspired by all ambitious ideas and all knowledge that will be shared by our honorable guests.
- Have a unique opportunity to network with 150 like- minded people.
- Have a valuable working and learning experience in the amazing city of Jakarta.
- The program, food, and accommodation are covered by Youth Time. Please take into consideration that travel expenses are at your own expense.
As interested participant you are expected to:
- After invitation pay an entrance fee of € 150,- .
- Only after payment your participation is guaranteed.
- Evaluate all projects that are presented to you during the event and vote for a winner.
- Take part in all workshops that are offered by the program.
